Cleaning of Kitchen and Storage Areas

Hotel Stewards are also to ensure the kitchen and storage areas are clean all the time. This is the critical requirement of the Hotel Steward, as the kitchen must meet Singapore Food Agency’s food hygiene standards at all times.

Maintain Professional Personal Appearance

Although this will vary slightly from employer to employer, all Hotel Stewards must have a clean and professional appearance. This means wearing appropriate entire, covering body art like tattoos and grooming facial hair.

Ability to Multitask
